Rice Pakode

Often comes in my mind what to do when there is extra rice remaining after the lunch, today with that extra rice I made "Rice Pakode". No wastage of food, got something different to taste.

Ingredients

Boiled rice - 2 cups
Green chilli - 2 chopped
Grated ginger - 2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder (Amchur powder) - 1/4th teaspoon
Red chilli powder - 1/4th teaspoon
Cilantro - 2 tablespoon
Gram flour (Besan) - 1 cup
Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon

Preperation

Take a bowl and put boiled rice in with followed with salt to taste, chopped green chilli, grated ginger, amchur powder, red chilli powder & cilantro. Mix all the ingredients well.

Now take another bowl and put 1 cup gram flour & salt to taste, red chilli powder, coriander powder.

With the help of water, make a thick batter of gram flour. Now take out small quantity of rice mixture in your palm & make small round balls,  keep aside.

Take sufficient oil in a frying pan and put it on flame. When the oil heat up then one by one dip the balls in the batter and cover it up properly.

Like this cover all the rice balls and fry them untill they turn golden in color.

When they turn golden in color take out in a dish & serve hot with Imli chutney or Tomato ketchup.
Njoy eating Rice Pakode.
