Chatpati Bhel Puri

Chatpati Bhel is all time favorite snack of mine. It is a combination of puffed rice, tomato, onion, chutney's, potato, sev etc.
Bhel puri is a very quickly made snack when you want to have some light food.


Ingredients

Puffed rice - 2 cups
Potato - 1 large (boiled)
Tomato - 1 (chopped)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Green chutney - 2 tablespoon
Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoon
Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon
Sev - 1 cup

Preperation

Take a plastic bowl and roast 2 cups puffed rice in it by adding some oil & a pinch of turmeric powder in microwave for 1 minute.


Roasted puffed rice will look like this.


For Green Chutney :

Take a handful of coriander leaves & 2 green chillies, salt to taste in a mixer grinder.


After grinding, add few drops of lemon to retain the green color chutney


I already have tamarind chutney with me, so didn't describe the process for it.

How to make

Take a large bowl, add chopped onion & boiled potato. Tomato will be added at last because if it is added along with onion & potato it will make the puffed rice soggy.


Then add roasted puffed rice, green & tamarind chutney, sev & tomato in the bowl.


Mix it well and chatpati bhel puri is now ready. If you like then you can add ground nuts also. Garnish it with coriander leaves & serve before it gets soggy.
