Cucumber Chille

Its summer time & our body is in great demand of water because of sweating. So, to enjoy summer put down cold drinks & sodas instead eat a cucumber slice. Cucumbers are 95% water keeping the body hydrated while helping the body eliminate toxins.
Apart that cucumber has many more health benefits.
The silicon & sulphur content in cucumber helps in stimulating hair growth.
Cucumbers are known to contain lariciresinol, pinoresinol & secoisolaricresinol. These three lignans have reduced risks of several cancer types including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer & prostate cancer.
Due to its low calorie & high water content cucumber is an ideal content for those who are looking for weight loss.
Cucumbers contain lot of magnesium, potassium & fiber , these work effectively for regulating high blood pressure.
Its juice contain a hormone which helps in producing insulin which has been found to be beneficial for diabetic patients.

So, here's a healthy snack of Cucumber "Cucumber Chille".




Ingredients

1 cucumber (grated)
1 1/2 cup gram flour(besan)
Salt to taste
Water (to make batter)
1/4th teaspoon red chilli powder
teaspoon saunf
Coriander leaves 1 tablespoon

How to Make

Take a bowl, add 1 1/2 cup besan, grated cucumber & salt to taste. Make thick batter of it by mixing sufficient amount of water.


After this, take out non-stick tawa and grease it with oil. Upon heating up, spread the batter over the surface and sprinkle some oil over to it.


Cook it properly from both sides.



Cucumber chille is now ready to serve. Take out in a dish and serve it with tomato chutney or tomato ketchup.
