Rawa Uttapam

Instant rawa uttapam is easy to make & requires very less ingredients. No fermentation is required to cook this, no need to soak rice overnight & then grind it, leave it to ferment for some hours. Rawa Uttapam is very far from all this process. 

It just requires few minutes to get ready for cooking.



Ingredients

Semolina/ Rawa/ Sooji - 2 cups
Salt to taste
Eno fruit salt - 1 sachet
Cucumber - 1 (chopped)
Tomato - 3 (chopped)
Onion - 4 (chopped)
Green chilli - 2 (chopped)

How to make

Take a bowl and mix rawa with water & salt to taste, mix well and keep it aside for 15 minutes.


After 15 minutes, add 1 sachet eno fruit salt.


Mix eno fruit salt well in the rawa and one by one add chopped green chilli, cucumber, tomato & onion.





Mix all the ingredients well and put on flame a non-stick tawa.


Grease the tawa with oil & spread 1 tablespoon full of batter.


Sprinkle some more oil over the uttapam and cook it well from both the sides.


To flatten the uttapam press it slightly with a masher.


Cook it for few more time and serve.


Rawa uttapam can be served either with ground nut chutney or tomato ketchup depending upon your taste.
