Maida Papdi

All purpose flour is used in making almost every indian snack. This snack tastes yummy & is ready with very little efforts.


Ingredients

All purpose flour/ Maida - 2 cups
Onion seeds (Kalonji) - 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste 
Oil - 2 tablespoon

How to cook

Sieve maida in a mixing container, add kalonji, red chilli powder, oil & salt to taste. Mix it well and make tight dough using sufficient amount of water.


With that dough make out medium size balls & roll out in the form of chapati, a big one.



Then with the help of knife, make vertical cuts in the rolled out chapati.


Put on flame a frying pan with oil in it and deep fry the papdi.


Strain them out to drop excess oil.


Sprinkle some chaat masala, black salt & some more red chilli powder to add more flavor.
