Hyderabadi Kofte

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas - 1 cup (Boiled & grind)
  • Cottage cheese(Paneer) - 1 cup (grated)
  • Potato - 1 (boiled)
  • Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Bread slices - 3 (crushed)
  • Aniseeds (saunf) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Spices mixture - 1/4 th teaspoon
  • Dry mango powder - 1/4th teaspoon
  • Onion - 2 tablespoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1/4th teaspoon

Step - I   -  How to make Kofte

Take a bowl and put all the ingredients, mix all the ingredients well like dough and make small round shaped kofte.
Then in a fry pan, deep fry the kofte in high flame. Keep seperate.

Spices to Grind

  • Roasted peanuts - 2 tablespoon
  • Coconut powder  - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 2 (boiled & grind)
  • Tomato - 3 (boiled & grind)
  • Curry leaves - 4-5
  • Green cardamom - 2
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Spices mixture(garam masala) - 1 teaspoon

How to cook

Take a fry pan, put 4 tablespoon oil, upon heating put the grind spices then turn the flame low and cook.
After this, mix 1 cup of cabbage and 1 cup of capsicum, cook it for 3-4 minutes then mix 2 cups of water and salt to taste.
Allow it to cook until the gravy becomes thick.
Then one by one put the kofte and garnish it with some fresh cream and coriander leaves.
Hyderabadi kofte is ready to be served.
