Unlike potato cutlets, raw banana cutlets are very much similar in taste & look too. It is as simple to cook as any other cutlet. The most important thing in these cutlets is that it can be eaten as a 'falahari' that means people who do not eat grains at night mostly Jains as raw bananas are mixed with singhada flour (water chestnut).
You can add chopped green chilli, ginger & coriander leaves here, I have grind them & mixed.
Raw banana cutlets are ready. Serve hot with tomao ketchup or imli chutney.
Ingredients
Singhada flour - 2 cups
Raw banana - 10-12 (boiled & mashed)
Salt to taste
Amchur powder - 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Green chilli - 1 (chopped)
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Ground nuts - 1 cup (slightly crushed)
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Saunf- 2 tablespoon
How to Cook
Take a big thali or any mixing bowl, and put boiled banana's, mash them properly. Add 2 cups singhade ka atta .
Mix 2 tablespoon saunf, salt to taste, amchur powder, garam masala, chopped green chilli & mix properly.
You can add chopped green chilli, ginger & coriander leaves here, I have grind them & mixed.
Now grease your palm with oil & make flattened balls out of it.
Deep fry the flattened cutlets till they turn brown in color.
Raw banana cutlets are ready. Serve hot with tomao ketchup or imli chutney.
